hennessy paradis

Golden amber coloured Paradis was created in 1979 by Maurice Fillioux when Hennessy was asked for an ‘ultra-prestige’ cognac higher in quality than XO. Everything is there but no one-note dominates. Complex with a silky attack, it has length and persistence. Made from 100 different batches, the youngest 25 years old and the eldest from the beginning of the last century (1900, 1910, 1920), it’s 85% to 90% from Grande Champagne. It has a timeless, distinguished elegance and a personality that grows as you swallow and comes back wave after wave. Savour in a snifter – no water, no ice, just bliss.

Remy Martin Extra

Discontinued and is not available anymore in stores. It was made from a blend of Eaux-de-vie aged between 20 to 50 years, coming from the two most prestigious crus in Cognac. As it is a ‘Fine Champagne’ Cognac, at least 51% comes from the Grande Champagne, the best cru of Cognac. It was aged in small casks of Limousin oak, resulting in excellent aromatic intensity.

A fusion of young and old Cognac lends a fruity and delicate palate with a bouquet filled with ripe fruit and spring flowers. Generations of production have led to the expert control of oak in this cognac, allowing the floral and fruit to shine while the oak introduces very subtle spice on light and balanced palate.
